Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who is leaving a mark on the small screen. De La Garza is a gorgeous actress, born 1976 in Columbus Ohio to a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother. Her move to Texas for the purpose of pursuing an occupation as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before she moved into Orlando Florida. She took part in a wide range of character roles including local independent films and commercials. Even though she had small parts, De La Garza rapidly realized the passion she had for acting. When she moved from New York, in 2001 she got her first acting role in the show All My Children. During early 2000s she had small roles appearing on JAG Vegas and Two and a Half Men. In 2004 she landed her first role in a major series on the short-lived show The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano along with a host of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi and Mitch Pilegge. Her most memorable role was in 2006's Law & Order where she played A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress appeared on the show 85 times. Her character on the Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. Her character received several nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. The National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded her the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on a drama TV show. De La Garza landed a part-time role in CSI Miami a short time afterwards. She performed the role of Marisol Deko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She was her character, Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dark drama Do No Harm. Alyssa Milano was cancelled by NBC in the first two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian origin and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was a relatively conservative and religious family. Milano started her acting professional career when she was just seven years old. Her babysitter accompanied her to a stage audition. Four girls selected out of over 1,000 potential candidates included Milano. Milano was featured in commercials in both Broadway and on TV and in the American musical version that portrayed Jane Eyre.
