Ashley Monroe

Ashley Monroe is an American country music artist and singer. The group she formed with Ashley Monroe known as Pistol Annies, with Angaleena presley and Miranda Lambert in 2007, followed by her release of her 2nd Album titled Like a Rose. Ashley Monroe performing with Blake SheltonIn the year 2015, she debuted her debut album, The Blade. This album brought her fame and accolades. Ashley Monroe has been in the public sector for more than 15 years, and spent the majority of that time as deputy city manager in Iowa City. As Assistant Village Manager, her current duties include managing the Community Development and Building Department and completing projects. The role of Ashley as Riverside's Assistant Village Manager is to support with the day-to-day operation of village services, and to implement the strategy laid out by elected officials. Her previous roles included municipal planning government communications budgeting the management of personnel and collective bargaining and concentration on climate-related initiatives. Ashley has gained invaluable insight through her involvement with national organizations as well as work in different communities. Ashley's course focuses on contemporary methods of public management and leadership, from the standpoint of a seasoned professional.
